James P. Jankowski founded The Charlton Group in 1992 to offer cost-effective and reliable technology support to businesses, enabling their executives and managers to focus on their strategic goals. By 1998, The Charlton Group ranked among the 50 fastest growing technology companies in New England and made the Deloitte & Touche National Technology Fast 500 list.
With over 25 years of experience in the information technology industry, James brings unparalleled technical expertise and business professionalism to every client engagement enabling The Charlton Group to maintain an exceptionally loyal client base.
Through his extensive work in IT consulting for C-level executives and managers, at large and small companies, James has acquired an unmatched understanding of business technology needs. He is an expert in successfully managing projects in the fields of business continuity planning, software application deployment and testing, network and infrastructure, communication systems, and office expansion and relocation.
Before founding The Charlton Group, James worked at Raytheon Corporation headquarters where he was the first Local Area Network Administrator and the first Anti-malware Specialist. Prior to that, he was employed at Union College, as a system analyst supporting both the academic and administrative communities.
Mr. Jankowski received a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the State University of New York.
