Who we are

Since 1992, The Charlton Group, Inc. has been a trusted IT services provider and advisor to businesses in New England. We offer reliable and cost-effective solutions tailored to the technology needs of healthcare and financial services firms. We approach each problem with an objective view and because we don’t partner or resell products, we remain objective with our recommendations for your business.

What we do

Our comprehensive range of IT offerings, from user support and managed services to security and disaster recovery, allows our clients to easily expand their technological capabilities when they need it. We strive to keep systems running, secured and compliant, and to resolve problems quickly, enabling our customers to focus on managing and growing their business. Our services are best suited to small financial and healthcare firms which require at least one day of on-site support per week and own from 20 to 150 computers.

Our founder

James Jankowski founded The Charlton Group in 1992 to help Boston-based firms with their technological challenges, so their management team could focus on growing their business. Early customers included State Street Bank, Citizens Bank, and the MIT Deputy Treasure’s office.
